When you ask us for a quote, make a booking or use our services, we may collect your name, contact details, address or postcode, job details, photographs you choose to send, payment information, and messages or call notes. We only ask for information that is relevant to the job.
The website quote form does not send its answers to our server. It prepares a WhatsApp message or email on your device. Your information reaches us only if you choose to send that message.
We use enquiry and booking information to respond to your request, prepare a quote, make and manage a booking, carry out the work, take payment, resolve problems and keep required business records. Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in running a safe and well-managed business.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall website use and page performance. Cloudflare states that this service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. Optional analytics and advertising measurement are only used if the relevant consent control is shown and accepted.
Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a lightweight performance beacon to measure page views and page performance. It is used to understand which pages are helpful, where visitors come from and how the website performs.
If you accept Analytics, we may also use Supabase to measure pages viewed and actions such as a call, WhatsApp or email button click, form start, and form sending choice. It uses a random session identifier that lasts only for the browser session, plus device category, referrer host and campaign parameters. It does not send the contents of the quote form to Supabase.
If you accept Analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects pseudonymous usage information using cookies or similar technologies, so that we can see which pages are used and how people reach us. We also use Google Tag Manager to load and manage these measurement tags. Tag Manager is not loaded until you have made a choice, and any advertising tags it holds stay switched off unless you accept Marketing.
If you accept Marketing and we are running campaigns, Google Ads and Meta may collect information to measure advertising and, where configured, personalise advertising. We do not load any of these optional tools until the matching choice is given.
Refusing optional technologies will not stop you using the website, calling us or requesting a quote.
You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie choices, here or in the footer of any page, to reopen the banner. Turning something off clears the cookies it set and reloads the page, so it stops straight away.
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. We store your consent choice in local storage so that we can remember it. If you accept Analytics, Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies, normally lasting up to two years, to recognise a returning browser. The exact providers in use are controlled by the live website configuration and are shown in the consent choices.
We use service providers to help run the website and business. Depending on the service you use and the choices you make, these may include Cloudflare for website hosting, security, performance and website analytics, Supabase for consented website analytics, Google for Maps, Analytics, Tag Manager and advertising, Meta or WhatsApp for communications and advertising, and Sitework for website support. We do not sell your personal information.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we will use appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as an adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or approved contractual clauses.
The interactive map is not loaded automatically. If you choose to show it, your browser connects directly to Google, which may receive technical information and use cookies under its own terms. Read Google's Privacy Policy.
We keep unsuccessful quote and enquiry information for up to 12 months, unless there is a good reason to keep it longer. We keep job, payment and tax records for as long as required by law, normally up to six years. We retain analytics data only for the period needed to review website performance and improve the site, and review it regularly.
You may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or objection to our use of your information. You may also have a right to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us using the details above and we will respond in line with applicable law.
